Golden Pearl Moisturizing Lotion wanted a sleek and stylish commercial to showcase a inspiring youthful imagery of the brand at par with international brands such as Vaseline, Dove, Nivea, Ponds.
Creative agency positioned Golden Pearl as ‘Producers of Good Mornings’ and such was communicated in the storytelling brilliantly as “Good Morning Sunshine, Good Morning Happiness” and the communication was built on depicting the ‘girl next door’.
The previous Golden Pearl Beauty Cream TV Commercial, which I did couple of years back by capturing the beautiful storytelling & creating the inspiring imagery around socialite culture was a huge success and transformed it to No.1 Beauty Brand in it’s category and hence the same magic was required for the launch TVC of it’s Lotion with its ’Skin That Feels Good” and the communication was built on depicting the “girl next door”.
The commercial was set in the picturesque backdrop, emphasizing on its serenity, its colorful ambience and backgrounds which was the main requirement for the shoot as the commercial signified the beauty of “Golden Pearl” girl who uses the Moisturizing Lotion after a shower and enters a world of beauty and grace which were all set into motion by the usage of subtle premium interiors, lighting, sophisticated costumes and graceful makeup which were all crucial for the success of our story telling process.
Pre rehearsals were arranged with the actress and DOP to ensure there were no stones unturned when it came to choreographing for the shot. The throw of the pillow, the feeling of happiness of the shower, the aspirational outdoor usage shots and the capturing of elation of the famous TV drama actress Nikita Dutta, all highlighted the “Producers of Happiness” concept and the ’Skin That Feels Good’ was shown in the product and usage shots.
The contemporary and hip music jingle was composed which added the “Happiness” tangent into the ad, livening up the ad till the end with energy and oomph factor.
